“Back to schooool. Back to schooool. To prove to dad that I’m not a fool.”
Billy Madison, ladies and gents!
The time is here. Summer is almost over. Some schools have ALREADY gone back.
With those long days looming on the horizon, there’s a lot on your mind: lesson plans, classes, deadlines, tuitions, all night study sessions that turn into binge Netflix watching… just me?
No matter where you are in your academic career, be it schoolin’ or gettin’ schooled, The Collection can alleviate at least some of the stress when it comes to back to school SHOPPING.
Hot for Teacher:
I grabbed some looks to illustrate the fact that The Collection can outfit professionals as well as students!
Check out this new Greylin blazer.
I paired it with Lisette print pants.
Is it too bold? I’m not sure. I’m remembering a lot of loud Chico’s patterns on my teachers, so I don’t know if that’s really a problem.
Simple pearl earrings. Doubled.
And a close-up of the leather and zipper detail on that blazer.
Go take on the class girl.
Make the Grade:
I know this won’t resonate with EVERY college age girl, but maybe you aren’t a fan of a big tee and running shorts.
If you like to dress up for class, I’m talking to you. Try this combo on for size.
I am loving these olive green MinkPink shorts, seen here with a Mystree black tee.
It’s easy, fashionable, and sure to keep you looking and feeling cool during these 100 plus degree treks across campus.
I went crazy with jewelry. But as the colors are so muted in the outfit, mix it up with some fun necklaces, rings, bracelets, whatever!
What makes this outfit even better? The sandals are on sale.
A+ for fashion sense.
“Bad Teacher”:
When I saw this Greylin skirt hanging on the rack, I was kind of worried this would end up looking a little too “Bad Teacher” for my taste.
But as you can see, it was a lot longer ON than I initially expected. Color me surprised.
I paired it with a Splendid button down top and black pumps.
Not a fan of standing on a heel all day? Throw on some black flats!
Another little side zipper for fun.
And a classic silver earring.
4.0 and Fashion:
Another easy thing to throw on and head to class? A simple graphic tee, ripped jeans, and a sweet pair of booties.
Because skulls and fringe y’all.
This skull PPLA top is so comfortable.
And OH, those Chinese Laundry shoes. CAN WE GET A CLOSE UP, PEOPLE?
Perfection.
Bonus tee, because I’m wearing it right now.
#whiskey&wolves
Minkpink tank. I don’t know what it means, but I like it.
