Spring has sprung.
What does that mean to you? It’s time to revamp your wardrobe with a splash of color! If you’re like me, those words can be a little hard to digest, but rest assured, strong hues aren’t just for fashion risk takers – they are for everyone!

Okay, I didn’t take a huge risk right out of the gate, but I loved that cris cross detail on this Olive & Oak blouse. Baby steps, people!
I went with another pair of James Jeans this week. I should really just buy a pair already, I love the way they fit and flatter in all the right places.
The top was just fun! Just know that if you wear a hot pink bra – the world is going to see it. I had to grab a cami to wear underneath, but it sort of worked out. The top is like a mullet, shorter in the front and longer in the back, so I liked knowing I had a little extra coverage on my stomach.
I like the idea of pairing pastels and browns. I toned down that rich Easter-egg colored mint top with a taupe shoe.

Here’s where it gets interesting.
Would I normally have picked this up? No. It’s the same color as my hair, and yet, I sort of love it.
This spring, why not try a juicy orange? It’s definitely a pick me up color and flatters everyone. If you’re in need of a dress for Easter, this baby might be the one. Remember, bold colors are sure to catch someone’s eye and highlight the parts of your body you love. Wear with confidence.

This dress had a lot going on, so I kept the jewelry simple. Just a long, gold statement necklace.

I think it was Coco Chanel who said, “The best color in the world is the one that looks good on you.” I know, I know, as a huge fan of black, it’s hard to know which colors look best. It might take a few tries, I mean you’re not gonna see me throw on a bright pink ANYTHING, but this spring, I plan to shake off my bright shaded aversion and embrace something vibrant!
