Today’s fashion looks are a tad selfish.
In a little over a month, I’m headed to the land where, according to the internet, everything wants to kill me. I know Spring Break is next week and summer is just around the corner, so you too might be planning a trip of some sort.

That little black Miillaa dress should be in everyone’s closet. It’s a great, breathable material, and you can dress it up or down. You’ll note I’m wearing heels here, but I’ll tell ya, I bought that thing to throw over a bathing suit. It’s not low cut, it hits under the arm just right, and it would be the perfect outfit to wear to a day at the beach – then out to dinner later in the evening. It also comes in green.
It’s such a versatile piece; I just had to have it.
Generally, I’m of the opinion that I should not wear hats. EVER. I’ve always envied those girls that can pull them off effortlessly. Maybe it’s because my head is an odd shape? Anyway, I know with my coloring, I should wear them more often, and I definitely needed one for the trip.
I didn’t even really put this on my head, just grabbed it for pictures, and it ended up coming home with me. It’s a very flattering and practical accessory.
If you’re about to abuse your bod with some serious sun, go try this bad boy on.

I am beyond happy that vests are not only back in fashion, but they came back with style! (Though admittedly, I was confused to learn they had left in the first place.) Anyway, this one is great.
The shirt has a faux leather trim and comes in a few different colors.
The jeans are James Jeans. Incredible fit! They also had a zipper detail in the front – way cool.
Shoes. Because shoes. They are on sale. Buy them.
