Ever since our on-air conversation about body types, I’ve been on a mission to find a store for women of all sizes!
And friends, I think I’ve done it.
Now, let’s put it to the test. I know a lot of ladies are psyched that it’s rodeo time. If you can fit a quick trip to and from Houston into your weekly work schedule, you go girl. I am personally still trying to figure that out with a 4 a.m. wake up time. The best way I can see this happening? Leaving straight from the office and heading out there early.
This can be tricky. You want to wear something rodeo-esque, that also wouldn’t look out of place at the office.

Yes, yes. It’s probably blasphemous to even suggest not wearing boots to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, but hear me out. These shoes were like little pillows on my feet. If I’m in a rush and this is what I’m stuck with, I can deal. PLUS – the shoes are on sale.
I’m a fan of chunky pieces of jewelry. If that’s not your style, The Collection features more delicate pieces to adorn your wrists, too.

The jeans were that perfect combination of “oh these fit me really well, but I can still breathe.” If you’re into that vest, that semi – Aztec detail goes to the midback. I should have snapped a pic, but forgive me, I’m new. The only thing I’d advise with this outfit? Definitely wear a cami with that undershirt. That baby is SHEER.

Because when I find something I like, I want one in every color. You’ll notice this is the same shirt in BLACK. Black is my friend. I’m pale, it’s slimming, you get it.
So here’s a look for rodeo that’s a little more rocker inspired.
If I’m going all black, it’s usually the accessories that bring back some life into my outfit. That statement necklace is killin’ it.
ARE YOU LOVING THOSE BOOT COVERS? Yes, covers. As in, you can throw on whatever old boots you have, and change them up to fit any outfit. My cowboy boots are hella beat up… and you can’t even tell.
And the pants? I believe they have the word “skin” in the name, which is an apt description. If that sounds weird, try them on. Pants shopping is always an arduous task, so if I can find two wins in one day, I guarantee you can do the same! Best part? I was NOT the largest size.

A great thing about The Collection is the range of sizes. It’s not one of these boutiques that carries 143234897 smalls, 10 mediums, and seemingly, no larges. It’s normal human sized, and that is precisely why I love it so. It’s also a great place if you’re ballin’ on a budget. There are some higher end items here, but most are pretty affordable!
Also, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Not once did I feel like I was unwelcome in the store. They offered suggestions, brought me different sizes, overall, I was VERY happy.
