It looks like the opening of the Super Bowl Half Time Show was a Perfect Illusion.
Lady Gaga didn’t actually jump off the roof during the Super Bowl halftime show. The intro with her on the roof was pre-taped.
Someone on the production crew said it had to be done that way for logistical and safety reasons but Gaga was lowered from about halfway up so it was still an impressive stunt.
