A research vessel called E/V Nautilus is exploring the ocean floor off the coast of California and the team operating the camera recently found a “Stubby Squid”.
It’s a cross between an Octopus and a Squid and it’s actually something called a Cuttlefish. It’s purple with big googly eyes so it looks like a kid’s toy. The best part is that the crew complely drop all professionalism and start cracking jokes!
I think we’ve found our new station pet.
